Todd Brock is a Partner at Brightstar and a Member of the Investment Committee. He currently serves as Board Chair of Texas Water Supply Company, a Brightstar portfolio company. Since 2006, Todd has worked closely with Andrew Weinberg at Lindsay Goldberg while serving on the boards of the Brock Group, PSC and Recon. Prior to Brightstar, he was also Founding Partner of Brock Capital Group (BCG). An active philanthropist, Todd focuses his giving and service toward the education of young people. He helped found Legacy Christian Academy, a college preparatory school for middle- and high-school students in Beaumont, Texas, and he serves on the board of Yellowstone Academy, a non-profit organization formed for the purpose of establishing high quality, faith-based private education for students whose families are living in poverty in Houston’s inner city. Todd is a board member of Orlando-based Student Leadership University, a program that has trained over 100,000 students around the world in Christian leadership principles and whose proprietary leadership curriculum is utilized by over 2,000 private schools across the country. Todd also serves on the board of For All Mankind, a Dubai-based ministry focused on international evangelism, and he is an advisor to Dare 2 Share, a ministry focused on peer to peer evangelism to high school students. Todd is a member of Houston’s Young Presidents Organization (YPO) and, in his free time, enjoys golf, hunting, and travel. Todd is a graduate of Texas A&M University and an active supporter of Business Honors Program at Mays School of Business.
